In this Live Session, Chad Schimmel, joins us from his studio workshop at Turners Warehouse in Arizona.
Chad will show us the process of creating a Celtic Knot blank for pen making. We will learn the method of cutting, placement and glueing up.
This is a great way to add a unique look to any pen or woodturning project
Techniques and focus areas will include:
- Layout and placement of the decoration
- Preparation and set up for cutting the knot
- Angles and Aesthetics – how angles affect the appearance
- Learn simple steps for an easy glue up
- Get a complex 3- layer knot, the easy way.
